Adults with disabilities, parents with children with disabilities, & adults without disabilities are invited to learn how to interact with elected officials to prevent the loss of basic rights when they have been violated.
By participating in the institute you will:
- develop skills needed to advocate for disability rights
- increase your knowledge of best practices in the disability field
- learn to communicate, interact, influence, and be an active partner with those who make policy.
A certificate of completion will be issued upon completion of entire course. This FREE training consists of a total of 16 hours, four hours per class.
